David Schulte

I’m a PhD student in Machine Learning and NLP in the group of Alan Akbik at Humboldt University of Berlin.

I am interested in a broad range of topics, including:

• Efficient Learning
• Representation Learning
• Alternative architectures for language models
• Intersections of Machine Learning and Neuroscience

Prior to my PhD program, I studied Mathematics and Statistics. I worked in the industry as a MLE and Data Scientist.

I am an active member of BLISS e.V., where I work in the Speaker Curation team.
